The Marlboro County Parks & Recreation requires that each youth bring a copy of a valid birth certificate. A copy of the certificate will then be filed for our records. Your child may not participate in any Marlboro County Recreation events without the birth certificate on file.
The Marlboro County Parks & Recreation Commission is responsible for various activities. Activities are sponsored year round for the youth in the County. All Activities offered in each rural area follow the same procedures. Sign-ups are conducted by an adult volunteer within each local recreation committee. Currently, these are the activities offered:
Football - July
Soccer - July
Basketball - November
Cheerleading - July
Tee-ball - January
Baseball - January
Girls softball - January
We provide a supplementary insurance. The insurance fee (included in the registration fee) is $7.00 per child. This will help cover some of the cost, if a child gets injured.
All areas of the county!!! Boys and Girls - ages 3 thru 17 (You may participate if your 18th birthday was/is after September 1st).
Don't forget your birth certificate must be on file in order to complete the registration process.

The Marlboro County Parks & Recreation Commission depends on dedicated community volunteers. Withouth the support of our coach's, sponsors, and parents we could not offer quality programs for our area youth. With your help our youth will learn the fundamentals of sports as well as the game of life. If you wish to participate in the Marlboro County Recreation Program as a Coach it is a requirement that we complete a Background Check on you. Please complete the attached form and return to our office.

SPORTS REGISTRATION
Registration Form (all sports)
The Marlboro Parks & Recreation Department operates under South Carolina's Recreation & Parks Association (SCRPA) and we follow their requirements to participate in any post season play. Some rules are optional in local league play, however, in state play everyone must comply with SCRPA regulations. The registration ages and fees are as follows:
(Dixie Youth Sports Fees are not regulated by SCRPA)
In addition to registration fees, we depend on sponsorship and donations from area companies and industries. Unfortunately player fees alone cannot support the expense of uniforms, equipment, trophies, etc.
